Which Islay did you pair with the stick? My go-to Speysides are Macallan and The Balvenie paired with mild, medium smokes and Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Port Charlotte 10, Caol Ila with LGC, LFD, Sancho Panza. I once paired a Laphroaig 10 with an LFD Double Ligero chisel. It was like a heavyweight fight with the scotch trying to overpower the cigar and vice versa with no clear winner. Interesting but odd at the same time.

Both the cigar and the Islay Scotch are my go tos. I’m partial to mild to medium cigars and the Indian Motorcycle Company Shade or Habana are my favourite.
