If you’re familiar with Cohiba, then you know the name and that little red dot are synonymous with luxury. Year after year, Cohiba’s product and marketing teams continue to innovate their tobacco blends as well as the story behind each cigar release. From Royale to Spectre to Weller by Cohiba, line after line continues to delight taste buds and captivate one’s sense of wonder.

This week, the Cigar World team wanted to highlight one of Cohiba’s past cigar collaborations with one of the most prominent rappers and entrepreneurs of all time, Jay-Z. That’s right, we’re talking about none other than Cohiba Comador.

What is Cohiba Comador?

Cohiba Comador was a super-premium cigar hand-crafted in the Dominican Republic, and created in partnership between the master blenders at Cohiba and Jay-Z.

The dynamic duo took over two years to craft Cohiba Comador, and the results were well worth the time spent. If you ever have had a chance to experience it, it’s truly a rare blend.

Comador is a testament to the enduring art of cigar making, and a reward that promises indulgence and enjoyment.

Cohiba Comador Tasting Notes & Drink Pairings.

Bold notes of pepper, cocoa, and espresso all make appearances, with a slight undertone of sweet cream leaving a lasting impression on the tip of the tongue.

If you happen to come across a Cohiba Comador and are looking for a beverage to pair with the cigar, we’d suggest either an aged rum or an IPA.
