Cigar Reviewed: Partagás Cortado

smoke time : 1 hr ( I am a slower smoker)

excellent burn and construction

first third: bread and malty. a slight floral sweetness adds a graham cracker note. grassy/ hay finish. slight pepper spice on tongue through finish. mild to slight medium strength.

2nd third: still some bread and maltiness. leather moves in and becomes dominant. bit of earth and raisin on finish. spice still there but subtle. body increasing and strength holding.

final 3rd: spice returns, leather drops off and the malt returns. Graham cracker and a nuttiness turn to an earthy leather finish. body and strength up to solid medium.

overall I enjoyed this blend. it has been a few years since having a partagas and I would smoke this again.
