Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997

Smoked at: Lufkin, Texas

I found a box of Macanudo Vintage 1997 Maduro while traveling. I knew them to be hard to find, and my wife wanted the metal bands, so bought the box. The dark, leathery wrapper has plenty of flavor but the cigar is on the medium to lighter side. A slight spice on the tongue soothes out to a mildly sweet aftertaste. The smoke is thick and pleasantly aromatic, and the cigar burned evenly throughout.
