Cigar Reviewed: Undercrown Connecticut Shade

Smoked at: Tobacco Haus, New Braunfels

From the initial combustion, this cigar coated the palate in silky notes of creamy almonds and light roasted coffee. Construction was superfluous! When I had removed the band at 1/4" from the ember, it affected the wrapper that later cracked for the remainder of the smoke. Smoked to the nub, the flavor remain surprisingly consistent in it's decadency. For new smokers looking for a milder blend or a connoisseur, it ranked in my top ten favorite profiles. Do not pass up if you come across these sticks!
