Smoked: Curvari Buenaventura Mini BV

Smoked at: West Chester, Ohio

Curvari Buenaventura Mini BV is a short 3.5 inch Nicaraguan with a slightly oily medium brown wrapper.

Cedar, earth, pepper, roasted nuts, cream, some spice, and a slight sweetness, maybe honey or fruit in the background along with an occasional note of cocoa. There’s a fair amount of flavor to this little stick – balanced nicely. The pepper really hits you on the retrohale.

The cigar gives off a generous smoke output with a solid white & grey ash – like roll of dimes - to the nub. The burn line was perfect. This small stick required no touchups. I’m impressed with the construction.

I found it full strength. By the nub, I’m buzzin’ a bit. Good thing it was a 3.5-inch cigar. It’s all I could have smoked. Then again It could have been due to my anxiety about the thunderstorm warnings and claps of thunder in the distance. Hey, when The Weather Channel is broadcasting live in your city, it’s always cause for stress.

When all you have is 30 minutes, Curvari Buenaventura Mini BV is a nice enjoyable short smoke.
