Cigar Reviewed: Aging Room Quattro Maduro

Smoked at: Carolinas

This was a well made cigar with a red and gold band. It had a typical chocolaty brown Maduro wrapper that was slightly sweet. It delivered quite a bit of cream, earth, and chocolate, but the black and white pepper notes were unbalanced. I kept thinking if it wasn't for all the pepper, this would be a thoroughly enjoyable smoke. I'm sure it is just the thing for those who like that much spice, but the flavors didn't blend well for me. It burned evenly, and slowly, and the tip split toward the middle of the smoke, but I was still able to finish it without it unraveling. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but I am encouraged to try the Aging Room Connecticut which might be a bit milder.
