The popular Punch Knuckle Buster Habano is getting a line extension in the form of a hefty new vitola. Dubbed “Stubby,” the new Knuckle Buster is a short gordo at 4.5 X 60. Note, that Stubby is only available in the Habano version of the Knuckle Buster line (and not the Maduro series). It is scheduled to reach retailers the first week of April.

Punch Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby Blend Information

The Punch Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby is almost a Nicaraguan puro, which is somewhat of a departure from traditional Punch cigars. Stubby features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan Habano filler tobacco –– in addition to Honduran Habano tobacco.

John Hakim, Brand Manager for Punch had this to say about the new release:

“Punch Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby packs a punch…or more like a jab. The Stubby delivers what fans loved about Knuckle Buster Habano in a new 'stubby' size. And since we mentioned wrestling, Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby is like the Iron Shiek’s Camel Clutch – it’s bold, it’s complex and it wraps up at just the right time.”

Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby’s tasting notes include caramel, pepper, and almond; it is a medium-bodied smoke.
