Rain delay

Smoked: Don Oswaldo “Thompson”

Rainy and chilly out so I didn’t want to fire up a rotation stick as I wasn’t sure if I was staying outside. I bought these Churchill bargain sticks last summer from Thompson Cigar. This 7.5x50 Dominican Puro has a Connecticut Colorado wrapper. The draw was alittle tight in the first third, but fine afterwards. Only one touch up needed and I would rate this as a 2.5 overall. Eight months in the humidor helped mellow it out and it was a solid smoke.

Very interesting. You piqued my interest when you noted that you'd had it in your humidor since last summer. 👍🥂

I keep a virtual humidor on cigargeeks and shows the age of cigars in humidor. I have many in the 8-12 month range. Even a few over 1000 days. I currently have 4 different size humidors to rotate my cigar choice.

Interesting. I wish I'd known about cigargeeks virtual humidors when I returned to stogies (September 2022) after almost 25 years. Now, too many to inventory. I'm not the most organized person in the world... FYI, my avatar is a photo of that momentous day when I selected a Davidoff Nicaragua Diadema for my return stick. My long-dormant palate couldn't appreciate its subtle nuances.
