Cuba Aliados Cabinet Cigars by EPC

This was an interesting smoke.

The earthy flavors were kind of flat for the first half but eventually picked and lasted through the end.

So … on the flavor and profile scale I would have rated this a midrange smoke. The end was fine but you had to work through it to get to the flavor.

The interesting aspect of this cigar was the construction and burn.

This cigar had the best draw on it that I’ve ever smoked. No only that, the burn was even and pefect from start to finish. The ash was A+ too.

The flavor may not have hit my palate on the right notes but something has to be said about topnotch quality construction.

Indeed. Poor construction can absolutely ruin an otherwise superb cigar, whereas topnotch construction can make a so-so cigar quite enjoyable. 😊
