ICYMI - Punch Bento Box hitting store shelves

Punch Bento Box Limited Edition

The cigar assortment should be arriving at stores late this week.

42 cigars come in the exclusive Bento Box, including 10 Kung Pow!, 12 Chop Suey (2020 blend) and 20 Egg Roll (2019 blend).

Don't expect the Bento Box to be available for long, the Zodiac year releases typically fly off store shelves in early spring, but are available for a limited holiday run this fall.

Ed Lahmann, senior brand manager for Punch cigars said, “Just like a true Bento Box that hits all of the major food groups in one package, our version brings together all of our Zodiac releases in one creative and great looking box."

Kung Pow

Punch Kung Pow! (6” x 52) includes a five-country blend and was rolled at the HATSA cigar factory. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a Honduran Habano binder. The blend includes Brazilian, Honduran, Dominican and Mexican long-filler leaves. Kung Pow! has an undercurrent of spice and was released in 2021.

Kung Pow! pairs best with Bourbon, Cognac, Dark Brown Ale.

Chop Suey

Punch Chop Suey (7” x 37) released in 2020, Chop Suey, was also blended at the HATSA cigar factory. Chop Suey is made with a Nicaraguan and Dominican blend and has a Nicaraguan binder with an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper.

The medium-bodied cigar pairs best with Rye, Coffee, Port.

Egg Roll

Punch Egg Roll (4.5” x 50) was created at the general cigar HATSA factory in Danli, Honduras. The cigar features a Colombian, Mexican, American and Dominican blend with an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder and Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

The medium-bodied Egg Roll pairs best with IPA, Coffee.
