Cigar Reviewed: Deadwood Yummy Bitches

Smoked at: Carolinas

The Deadwood Sweet Jane is one of the Yummy Bitches Series from Drew Estates. The band says "Sturgis Edition," a knod to the motorcycle meet, and features the image of a Mexican style Sugar Skull. It is a 5 x 46 dark brown beauty with a sweetened tip and a cold draw of earth and kitchen spices. Light up brings a lovely hickory-like aroma combined with the sweet flavor of the tip. Soon coffee and chocolate blend in with the campfire flavors to make a smoke that is a little rustic but very pleasant. I'm not a fan of sweetened cigars, and I couldn't help but think that I'd preferred this cigar without the sweetened tip, but I'm glad I tried it. It burned perfectly and slowly. It was about a 45 minute smoke with a good draw and a medium to long ash. I think I prefer the Kentucky Fire Cured (unsweetened) series from Drew Estates.
