Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Inspirado Green

Smoked at: Burn Premium Cigars - 409 W. Burnsville Pkwy, Burnsville, MN 55337

[FULL DISCLOSURE: Cigar World sent me this cigar]

After receiving my Macanudo Inspirado Green, I couldn't wait to light it up. However, a friend of mine was also selected, so I thought I'd wait until my friend received his.

Once both cigars were in our grubby little hands, we headed off to our favorite cigar lounge, since the weather here in Minnesota has turned unfavorable for enjoying cigars outdoors. To not be complete jerks, we both bought a selection of cigars while there.

Now on to the smoke. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous with this cigar. The exotic mix of tobacco was intimidating for me. The most unusual cigar I buy is the CAO Cameroon, and that's just a Cameroon wrapper around Nicaraguan binder & filler.

The Macanudo Inspirado Green (as I'm sure you already know) has a Brazilian wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and Colombian and Dominican blended filler. The first draw was very pleasant, I know the cigar was listed as medium-bodied, but the initial taste had that full pop flavor from the full strength cigar, without the gut-wrenching side effects, lol.

I was impressed and would absolutely add this to my buying rotation.
