Cigar Reviewed: Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne

Smoked at: Florence, AL

I had to get a quality cigar to celebrate Bama winning the SEC championship as underdogs vs Georgia, so I picked this one. It has been on my radar for a while. I payed $10-11. Prelight flavor was mild with coffee hints. Had no trouble lighting up and it had a nice medium aroma. 1/3 had smooth notes of cedar with a hint of nuts. Great smoke output and more flavor than I was expecting. This was great as I prefer medium cigars over mellow. 2/3 had more cedar notes with some added spice and a slight sweetness in the aftertaste. Final 3/3 had more spice but remained smooth with no harshness. I smoked it down to the nub. Burn and build was excellent with no touch ups at all! Great versatile stick for any occasion. My first Perdomo, and it was a winner! I would like to try some of their maduro offerings too. Roll Tide! The men’s basketball team beat Gonzaga tonight too so it was a great day!
