Cigar Reviewed: Perdomo Lot 23

Smoked at: Ohio

Today on a solid spring day in Ohio, after working on the lawn, it was time to relax and enjoy a smoke.

Today, I went with the Perdomo Lot 23. Lately I have been a real aficionado of Perdomo but I have been looking for a slightly affordable option to just have on hand when I am in an affordable mindset... or if I have someone over who wants to try a cigar, but don’t want to offer them my top shelf cigars if I fear they will only smoke a 1/3 because that cuts me deep every time.

The Lot 23 is everything you expect from Perdomo. It draws well, burns great with a solid burn line, a smooth smoke with a lot of complex flavor. Also, like all things Perdomo, the Lot 23 fights well above its weight class and smokes like a more expensive cigar. The only difference I felt was Lot 23 wasn’t nearly as strong as some of the other Perdomo lines, but still solid.

If you are looking for an introduction to Perdomo, a good cigar with not a lot of kick or a cigar you can enjoy without abusing the wallet, the Lot 23 is a good place to go.

I will definitely try it again.
