Cigar Reviewed: Oliva Serie V

Fantastic stick.

This was the perfect smoke to pull up two chairs and sit with my dad on the back porch while the kids and grandma played card games inside. The Oliva family lineup is superb to pass out and enjoy. They are consistent and fun and good. I've had a few smokes better than this and quite a few that were worse but I knew what I wanted and was going to get and it delivered.

Granted, the talk with dear ol' dad turned to hearing loss, colonoscopies, knee cartilage (lack of), my brother-in-law's divorce and the general messed up state of politics but, like this cigar, I knew what I was getting into.

I may have earned a tad bit of respect too, by handing him the 95-rated cigar when he only gave me a 93-rated the last time we were together.

And yes, grandma let the kids win every hand.
