Smoked: Montecristo Platinum

I opened the college football season with one of my "special" sticks, the Montecristo Platinum Robusto, and ended it with the same. I have found, though, that the Platinum's construction is noticeably inconsistent. As much as I love the flavors of the cigar (Peruvian tobacco contributes to the filler -- love it), I think I'm going to have to find another cigar to occupy its place in my Special Occasion category.

Although I am sad that the regular season is over, I was nonetheless delighted with yesterday's WIN for Purdue, and W's for Northwestern, the SIU Salukis, and, to make the day even sweeter, Michigan! GO BLUE! It'll be a long wait until next season... sigh...
