Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. Congrats to the Chiefs and the 49ers for making it into the Super Bowl. Hope it's a good game and even better if my boxes win. Saturday at Aroma was a good day, the place was packed and I saw some ole' faces that haven't been around for a while.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a great time at Aroma last night, the usual suspects were out and the place was packed. We're going to do some grilling this weekend starting with a London Broil tonight; a beer can chicken tomorrow - low and slow; then either burgers or chops on Sunday while we watch the NFL Playoff games. We're heading back to Aroma tomorrow morning for a couple of hours to hang out with the regular crew to relax and catch up. Enjoy the weekend everyone...... 💯

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means we'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY tonight. We had a steady rain all night and I just check and it looks like it'll continue until late tomorrow afternoon. NOAA was spot on with this one, about time as they say.     Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0410 and it's already "Hump Day". There's not much going on today at the office except for the day to day operations to include meetings and emergency exercise preparations. In reference to our trip next month down to West Palm Beach for the "Great Smoke", we all booked our flights down to West Palm 'One Way". We got a good price through JetBlue from Newark, NJ for $104 direct non-stop. The return trip on Sunday the 25th is still high, watching it everyday to see if the price drops a little. More to follow on that. Anyway, enjoy everyone and have a great day...... 🍺

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. Beth and I had a relaxing weekend overall: stayed home Friday night catching up on some TV shows we missed during the week; Saturday, I went over to the Aroma Cigar Room for a while to see how everyone was doing; in the afternoon I stopped in the American Legion in New Windsor, NY for a couple of cold ones and then picked up a specialty pie from Mamma Mia's: https://www.mammamiacafepizza.com/; yesterday, we did some grocery shopping in the morning and then watched some NFL Playoff football. Tonight, the American Legion has their monthly pasta night which is always a big hit. Enjoy your week everyone...... 🇺🇸

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a great time at Aroma last night, a number of the usual suspects were out enjoying primo stogies. Weather wise, Mother Nature hasn't started dropping any snow yet. I'm heading to West Point shortly and I see that all we will get as of now is about 1.8" in an eleven hour period. DPW should have no issues handling that amount especially that most of the main roads are already pretreated. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy....... 💯

Yesterday's two hour delay turned into a "Code Red" all day as the snow and sleet didn't stop until after 1800 (6 PM). NOAA is now calling for another winter blast with the snow starting late Thursday evening into late Friday night / early Saturday morning:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday. We got some snow last night so West Point called a two hour delay with an adverse weather call at 0700 (7 AM). I watched the Eagles lose last night and said to myself they better get it together for next year. Thank goodness that NASCAR and MLB is right around the corner.     Good morning everyone, the espresso coffee is on and I'm heading to West Point shortly to meet the fellas for an early breakfast at the chow hall. We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was hoppin' and the regular crew was there enjoying top shelf stogies. We're trying to finalize our flights down to the Great Smoke in February. We're heading out the 21st and returning the 25th. Currently looking at Westchester County to West Palm Beach or Newark to West Palm Beach. Both locations are costly (Sunday flight home is above average), looking everyday for a good deal. We're gonna decide soon and book our flights before everything is taken. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and relax as well....... 🤓

We're heading over there earlier than normal as I have some use-or-lose vacation I have to take before this weekend. Taking two hours today and four hours tomorrow which will bring me down to 240 on the books that the government allows to maintain at anytime. We had rain and wind all night long with temps in the lower 50s which helped with the melting of most of the snow from Saturday night. The issue they are worrying about now is flooding and all in low areas and run off from the mountain. Beware out there today and enjoy....... 💯

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a chilly Tuesday morning as we speak. I got home yesterday and took a look at the snow blower and found a chunk of ice lodged in the chute blocking anything from going forward. All cleaned up and ready for the next storm.     Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's back to work Monday already. I got our storm prep done Saturday and I'm glad I did. We got a good 11 inches of snow and it was wet and heavy. Unfortunately, halfway through, my snow blower stoped throwing snow. I checked the shear pins and they are all intact. Further investigations are forth coming once I get a chance to take it apart and give it a look see. Now that the regular NFL season is over, the playoff schedule is set. Should be a good this year, hope no one runs away with the championship. Have a great week all and enjoy....... 👍

NOAA has updated their weather guess for the weekend, now they are saying we're going to receive 10+ inches of snow starting early Saturday afternoon into Sunday evening. I just checked NOAA for this weekend's snow predictions and they are saying that we should be getting 6+ inches from Saturday afternoon into Sunday. There's plenty of college bowl games on throughout the weekend as well as NFL, NHL and NBA sports to keep you busy. If you go out New Year's Eve, party responsibly and take care of each other.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's finally Friday! Tonight is the Aroma Cigar Room Christmas party and tomorrow is the holiday party at the American Legion in New Windsor, NY. Sunday is Christmas Eve and we'll be heading over to one of our niece and nephew's house for their annual get together. Monday is the big day, Beth and I will have brunch at her sister's house and then we'll head over to their daughter's house for Christmas dinner. There's plenty of sports to watch all weekend as well as holiday shows to keep you busy through out. Enjoy everyone and remember to be very safe out there....... 🇺🇸
