Just like wine and cheese, a cigar and a drink pairing go hand-in-hand. But, for your average cigar smoker, it can be difficult knowing what kind of beverage to pair with certain cigars. Even for the cigar aficionado, a cigar pairing suggestion or two never hurts.

That’s why we’ve studied one of our favorite cigar brands, Hoyo de Monterrey, and tested each one of the cigars in their lineup.

We’ve smoked them with beers, spirits, wines, even sodas, and put together the ultimate cigar and drink pairing list for Hoyo.

I would love to see what pairings you have for the Excalibur Maduro. Are they similar to the Dark Knight? Excalibur Maduro #2 is my all time favorite and still go to cigar.
