Does it get any better than chocolate tasting notes in a cigar? Chocolate is a popular and profound cigar tasting note, and new smokers often find it one of the most pleasing to the palate. Most often, chocolate tasting notes are found in darker cigars — those with Maduro or Oscuro wrappers. Complementary tasting notes that pair well with chocolate include coffee, espresso, cream, pepper, and spice.
