A while back, our fellow Brother of the Leaf, @shortstackz , kindly sent me some cigars to check out. Being the huge fan of the Rocky Patel Sun Grown line that I am, the first one I tried was a no brainer. This Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro Toro did not disappoint. Not only was it unexpectedly smooth, its flavors of subtle fruit, woodiness, earthiness, and baking spices provided for a most enjoyable experience. And, the aroma was outstandingly aromatic. Although my wife and I sat outdoors, and it was a breezy day, the cigar’s lovely aroma was simply captivating; she loved it, too. While I still prefer the original Sun Grown, this Maduro is certainly, IMO, one of Rocky’s best. Thank you, shortstackz! ??
