Need “Back” Button

Really need a “back” button.

I can’t even use my iPhone’s backpage function - it’s either blocked or not enabled.

Forcing us to start over at the “top” of whatever stack of texts we're in (ie, have to click on Feed or Notifications or whatever, & then scroll, scroll, scroll down to where we left off) after leaving a Comment/Reply or even just clicking thru to read Posts/Comments/Replies.

Need an edit function to go back and correct a post. My big fat fingers on these mobile keyboards make things difficult. When I click on the three dots “...” at the upper right corner of my post, I don’t get an opportunity to edit—only report the message.

And, I agree with the Deputy Mayor that when we descend through the hierarchy (Group—>post—>reply), when we hit the back button, it should walk us back up to the place we descended from—not all the way back to the top. Otherwise, this is an awesome evolution from the previous site.

OK, they are listening. The back function is working as expected. And, i got an “edit” function. But...they converted the delete option into an edit option. Need both. Just now I ended up with a double-post. Wanted to delete one and couldn’t. Need two of the three options for the original author of a post or a reply (edit and delete). Need a report this option for all other readers.

      Hi ranger

You can edit your whole posts. Comments though we don't have edit functionality just delete as comments are typically short responses. Easy to delete and re add but if you have a long post, to re-add all that content would be a pain. Hope that helps clarify.

If you are in the web browser you should have a back button already. If you are on iOS and using the site as an app, you just have to swipe from the left (just off screen) to the right and it will go back. From right will go forward.

This is just how iOS works. https://www.google.com/amp/s/9to5mac.com/2018/05/25/how-to-go-back-on-iphone/amp/
