I heard on Bloomberg this morning that a group of Chinese investors purchased Altidas from Imperial Tobacco.

    I just read that too (unless it's a another company purchase too). It sounds like it's only for Cuban Cohibas, Montes & RyJ(?) for outside of the US. Still not wild about the idea. That usually comes with price increases.

      I heard on the station this morning but I found the Bloomberg article. Search Imperial Tobacco cigar bloomberg and it will come up.

    Interesting! Not necessarily good.

    When the sale was announced a few weeks ago as completed, it just said “private investors “.
