Can someone explain to me how the metal cigar band on this cigar is a quality control device for the humidity output of your humidor?

    If I remember correctly when they were first released, if it slips off too easily it’s too dry. And if it can’t move at all the. it’s too humid. I’ve had quite a few way back when, and one a year or so ago.
