Herfing FAQs
The point of herfing is to enjoy fine cigars with others who share your passion
for cigars. A herf can be held anywhere there are cigar lovers and a cigar friendly
place (private residence, tobacco shop, cigar-friendly restaurant or bar, park,
etc.). Most herfs are very casual, but it is always a good idea to check with your
host to see if there are any special requirements, or if there is anything you can
bring to make the event more enjoyable.
Every herf is different, and there really are no herfing rules set in stone. Some
herfs are "boys night out" types of events where anything goes; while others are
more sedate, family oriented types of events. In any case, please remember to mind
your manners, use good judgment... and enjoy yourself!
